Amna Nawaz is a first year health policy fellow through the George Washington University Hospital Department of Emergency Medicine. She completed her undergraduate training at Virginia Commonwealth University, medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine, and her emergency medicine and chief residency at Duke University Hospital. Her career goal is to advocate for progressive health policy including improving immigrant access to care and uplifting women's health.
