Amy Komure
Amy was born and raised in Stockton, California in the central valley. She wanted to move away from her home town and completed her B.S. in biology at Villanova University. After graduation Amy served at a federally qualified health center in West Philadelphia through AmeriCorps. There she had a front row view as the first wave of people applied for insurance through the ACA and realized how policy really affected health. She graduated from the Keck School of Medicine of USC with a dual MD/MPH and is currently a second year family medicine resident at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in sunny southern California.
