Asmaa Hassan Abdelrehim, MD, Msc

​Asmaa Hassan Abdelrehim, is a second-Year Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow at Children'sFellow at Children's National Hospital. She completed her Adult Psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai/Elmhurst Hospital Center, NY. has a strong background in neurology, holding a Master’s degree in Neuropsychiatry and completing a combined Neurology and Psychiatry residency at Suez Canal University, Egypt. Prior to relocating to the United States, she served as an Assistant Lecturer of Psychiatry in Egypt  gaining substantial teaching and academic experience. She also served as a delegate for the Committee of Interns and Residents in NY, advocating for trainee physicians.Her clinical and academic interests include Neurodevelopmental disorders, Early psychosis, Interventional psychiatry, and the business aspects of medicine. She is committed to advancing innovative, accessible mental health care for children and adolescents.
