Bruny Kenou is a mental health activist and medical student at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences (GWSMHS), where she serves as President-elect of her Class Council and co-leader of the Health Policy Scholarly Concentration at GWSMHS. Bruny has been recognized as a subject matter expert in Youth Mental Health, speaking to state legislators and helping to craft policies on youth wellness and the mental health workforce at convenings help by national organizations including the Council of State Governments. She has extensive experience in pioneering behavioral health tech solutions for the youth mental health crisis, including co-founding DukeLine, a text-based crisis intervention service at Duke University. She aspires to become a psychiatrist who advances psychiatry through legislation and innovation.
