Chidiebube Nzeako, MD
Howard University, Family Medicine
PGY-3


Chidiebube Nzeako is a PGY-3 Family Medicine resident and Chief Resident of Education at Howard University Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies at Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earned her medical degree from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
Dr. Nzeako is passionate about preventive care, obesity medicine, and lifestyle medicine. Throughout her residency, she has contributed to quality improvement initiatives, including increasing colon cancer screening rates, improving documentation efficiency with MModal Speech-to-Text technology, and implementing Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) deprescribing.
She is dedicated to addressing health disparities, with a focus on obesity management. Dr. Nzeako plans to pursue further training in obesity medicine and engage in research to advance preventive care and reduce health disparities. She is committed to promoting community health and wellness through evidence-based interventions.
