Dimal D. Shah, M.D.
Children's National Hospital, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
PGY-5, Chief Fellow


Dimal Shah is a chief fellow in the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training program at Children's National Hospital. He earned a bachelor of science degree in chemical biology and a minor in history at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. He graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine with a doctorate in medicine and from the general adult psychiatry residency training program at Hahnemann University Hospital/Drexel University College of Medicine. He serves as the advocacy liaison on the local chapter of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. His goal is to advocate for pediatric mental healthcare at the local and national levels.
