Fall 2019 RFHP Cohort
RFHP opened my eyes to the larger issues underlying and driving our healthcare system. We learned about specialty shortages and the monumental importance of the social determinants of health. We studied how teaching and community health centers can be the anchor, and the beacon of hope for communities, providing more effective care at lower costs. We met with stakeholders, coming face to face with what it takes to provide high value care. These ideals impact my daily practice. RFHP has made me a more conscientious, and capable physician.
