Dr. Clifford grew up in Nevada where he completed his undergraduate and medical school education. In medical school, he was selected for a year-long position at the American Medical Association DC office, known as the Government Relations Advocacy Fellow, where he mainly focused on lobbying congress on student and resident issues. He then completed Emergency Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. He is now a Health Policy Fellow at George Washington Department of Emergency Medicine. Some of his interests include global health, humanitarian aid, medical devices, measurement of care, and pandemic readiness.
