Oscar M. Taube, MD, was born and raised in New York City. He received his MD from NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Taube completed his Pediatric Internship, Residency and Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at Children’s National Hospital. He then worked as an Attending Pediatrician/Coordinator of Adolescent Medicine at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. He has received numerous teaching awards from Sinai, as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Dr. Taube serves as the Chairperson of the Committee on Adolescent Health for the AAP’s Maryland Chapter, and is co-Chairperson of the 5 State/D.C. Pediatric Post-Roe Reproductive Health Coalition. He created/directs the Advocacy Curriculum for Children’s National Adolescent Medicine Fellowship Program. Areas of interest and expertise include: Adolescent Advocacy; transition of older adolescents from Pediatric to Adult Medical care; Foster Care teens, and teaching Adolescent Medicine to clinicians in training.
