Joseph DelFerro, MD, MPH
Children's National Medical Center, Pediatric Residency

​Joey DelFerro (He/him) is a second-year pediatric resident at Children's National in the Leadership in Advocacy, Under-resourced Communities, and Health Equity track. He completed undergraduate training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and medical school/master's in public health training at the University of Pennsylvania. He engaged in healthcare navigation and community reintegration work via an AmeriCorps service year, and his prior research focused on disparities in adolescent mental health and healthcare experiences. He envisions a career that combines clinical medicine with community partnership and advocacy.
