Kerry Benton earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2017. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and served as Chief Resident at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in 2020 and 2021 respectively. She then joined the faculty as an Academic Hospitalist and Assistant Professor of Medicine. She is currently completing a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship at George Washington University. Her professional interests include advocacy to strengthen systems for quality end-of-life care and to expand support for elder care and hospice services.
