
Kimberly Chernoby, MD, JD
Kimberly Chernoby is a current fellow in Health Policy. Previously she served as Chief Resident at Indiana University. She is also a licensed attorney. She holds degrees in biology and bioethics from New York University. She was the first graduate of the MD/JD program at the University of Florida. Her policy interests include women’s health and prescription drug access. Notably while a resident, she helped pass a law that gave pregnant minors in Indiana the right to consent to their own medical care. She has won several awards for her advocacy work including EMRA 45 Under 45 Influencers in Emergency Medicine, and Woman Leader of the Year at the University of Florida.
