Krystle Pew, MD, MPH

Krystle Pew is a pulmonary and critical care medicine fellow physician at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. She completed undergraduate training at Hampton University, medical school at Howard University College of Medicine, graduate studies at George Washington University, and residency training at Methodist Dallas. She has experience in public policy as a contributor to Louisiana’s COVID-19 Health Equity Taskforce where her work focused on examining the extent of outcome disparities in COVID-19 and revising the state’s crisis standards of care to ensure equitable resource allocation in the setting a natural disaster or pandemic. Her career goals are to eliminate racial disparities in critical care medicine via research, cultural competency and health literacy and public policy.
