Loc Nguyen is a PGY-3 family medicine resident at The Wright Center for Graduate Medicine Residency - National Family Medicine Residency Program. As the largest teaching health center graduate medical education consortium in the country with 4 different training locations, he is serving as chief resident at the Ohio site. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Iowa, graduate training at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and medical school at A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. He has leadership experience with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physician as the Chair of the Resident Council. Having completed most of his training in underserved settings, he will continue his career at a community health center in Northern California. His interests include the roles of graduate medical education in addressing the physician workforce shortage.
