Manisha Uppal, MD

​Manisha Uppal is a third-year internal medicine resident at George Washington University. She completed her medical training at Lady Hardinge Medical College, University of Delhi, then joined GW as a research scholar before starting her residency. A writer at heart, she has served as Editor-in-Chief of her medical school magazine and the Journal of the Asian Medical Student Association (AMSA).

She hopes to bring together her passion for writing, health equity, and patient empowerment to advocate for her patients and better serve them across diverse settings.
