Maryssa Miller, MD, MA, RD
George Washington University Hospital, Internal Medicine
PGY-3


Dr. Maryssa Miller is a third-year resident in Internal Medicine at the George Washington University. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Master of Arts in Nutrition and Food Science at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She received her Dietetic Registration and practiced as a Clinical Dietitian at Detroit Receiving Hospital in the surgical trauma intensive care unit. She then completed her Doctor of Medicine at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She has held several leadership positions throughout residency including President of the Housestaff Council and President of Internal Medicine House Office Council. She serves on many hospital committees, including Ethics, Critical Care, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics. Next year, she will serve as a Chief Resident of the Internal Medicine Program. Her career goal is general Internal Medicine with a focus on HIV care, public health, and advocacy.
