
Nathaniel K. Jones, MD, MPP
Nathaniel (Nate) K. Jones is a second-year Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellow at Children's National. He completed is undergraduate training at Rutgers University and medical school at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He later completed residency at University of Chicago/Comer Children's Hospital as well as a master’s in public policy at the University of Chicago-Harris School of Public Policy. He currently holds a leadership position within the American Academy of Pediatrics as Executive Committee Member for the Section on Minority Health, Equity and Inclusion where he leads the Section's policy and advocacy efforts and currently chairs the Section's national advocacy campaign related to voter inclusivity and health equity. His overall career goal is centered on researching and advocating for policies focused on equitable health care delivery.
