Peter Sangeyup Yun is a Health Equity and Social Emergency Medicine Fellow at George Washington University. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University and his MD/MPH from Baylor College of Medicine and UT School of Public Health. After completing his emergency medicine residency and serving as chief resident at UT Southwestern and Parkland Memorial Hospital, he pursued a fellowship at GW to deepen his expertise in health services and community-based participatory research. As an Albert Schweitzer Fellow, he led a project improving postpartum depression care access for women in Greater Houston, and now focuses on enhancing emergency care for patients experiencing homelessness and creating better care pathways for marginalized populations.
