Richa Taneja is a Pediatric Anesthesiology fellow at Children's National Hospital. She completed undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Miami, anesthesiology residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, and is currently completing her fellowship at Children's National. She has held leadership positions on various ASA Committees. She was also named an ASA Resident Scholar in March 2020, where she spent a month in Washington DC focused on health policy and advocacy and was able to play a role in the federal response to the COVID-19 novel virus. She looks forward to incorporating her advocacy and policy goals into her future anesthesiology career.
