
Rida Malick, MD
Rida Malick is a third-year psychiatry resident at George Washington University Hospital She completed her undergraduate training at Northwestern University where she majored in Middle East and North African Studies. She then went on to complete her doctorate of medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She has had multiple research and conference experiences on various subjects, including medical ethics, psychopharmacology, and preventative medicine, in addition to global health experiences in places such as Turkey and Uganda. She has presented on both national and international platforms. Her interest areas include social justice, humanities, public policy and advocacy as well as global mental health and cross-cultural psychiatry. Her current academic interests lie in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and hopes to pursue fellowship after residency graduation.
