Dr. Battistich an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at New York University Medical Center, where she also served as the Medical Director for the Bellevue/NYU Survivors of Torture Program. In this role, she oversaw the program’s uniquely comprehensive medical and mental health care, as well as social and legal services to survivors of torture and war trauma. She is also an Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity alumni.
