Umair Ashraf, MD, is the Chief Palliative Care Fellow at George Washington University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Hahnemann University Hospital/Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, followed by a Geriatric Medicine fellowship at George Washington University Hospital. With years of experience as a hospitalist in community and rural hospitals across Southern Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio, Dr. Ashraf is dedicated to advancing research and advocacy for high-quality elder care, particularly in underserved and rural communities across the nation.
