Vera Goldberg is a general academic pediatrics fellow in advocacy at Children's National. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania, medical school at Harvard, pediatric internship at the University of California San Francisco, and pediatric residency at Loyola University Medical Center.
After working as a primary care pediatrician predominantly serving patients on Medicaid for four years, she started fellowship with the goal to become a more effective advocate for underserved patients. She has significant experience working with Spanish-speaking patients in the US and in Guatemala. She is passionate about addressing food insecurity, advancing immigrant health, and empowering patients and families.
