William E. Rallya, MD, MS, LCDR, MC(FS), USN
Children's National Medical Center, Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellow

William Rallya is currently a fellow of pediatric anesthesiology at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C. He completed his undergraduate education in chemistry and political science at Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Science degree in molecular medicine at the University of South Florida. He then worked at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in the healthcare compliance office. Afterward, he attended medical school at the University of South Florida and completed a transitional year internship at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He then completed an operational tour as a flight surgeon with Carrier Air Wing Two attached to the USS Carl Vinson before returning to Walter Reed to complete anesthesiology residency. He hopes to utilize his experience in a single payer system to improve accessibility and affordability both locally and nationally.
