Amber Okoye is a second-year pediatric resident doctor at Children’s National. Before making her way to Washington D.C., she attended the University of Pittsburgh for her undergraduate degree and SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, New York for her medical degree. She is specifically one of the resident doctors who is a part of the Children’s National Leadership in Advocacy, Under-resourced Communities, and Health Equity (LaUnCH) track due to her continued interest in community engagement and positive youth development both on local and global scales.
