Daniel Choi is a second-year pediatric critical care fellow at Children’s National. He completed his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University, medical school at University of Massachusetts Medical School, and pediatric internship and residency at Albert Einstein/Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. He is also an AmeriCorps alumnus and worked for a year as a pediatric hospitalist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is board certified in general pediatrics and he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine. He is currently researching ascorbic acid in pediatric critical illness but has interests in health disparities and health policy in the critical care world that stem from his experience during medical school when universal health care was being implemented.
