Folami Duncan is a second-year pediatric resident at Children’s National Medical Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Temple University and Doctor of Medicine from Meharry Medical College. She has a longstanding interest in health policy, health disparities research, and mental health. She has held numerous leadership positions over the years including program coordinator for the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Joyful Markets/ Ask the Doc program, along with serving as a committee member for the Children’s National Diversity and Inclusion Working Group. Her future career goals involve combining her interest in Pediatric Emergency medicine with her passion for policy reform and health disparities research.
