Jessica Huang, MD
PGY-3
Internal Medicine
The George Washington University
I’m a current PGY3 in internal medicine and recently applied for a cardiology fellowship, with a specific interest in advanced cardiac imaging. I went to college at Vanderbilt University and graduated with a double major in neuroscience and medicine, health, and society (MHS) which is similar to a public health major. I then completed medical school at USF Morsani College of Medicine as part of the SELECT program which focuses on emotional intelligence, leadership, and health systems. In residency, I’m part of the Underserved Medicine and Public Health (UMPH) concentration and was the prior co-president of the GME Diversity Network. I am particularly interested in reducing healthcare disparities, anti racism, and delivery of cardiovascular care to underserved populations.
