Abir Chisti, MD
George Washington University Hospital, Anesthesiology
PGY-4
I currently serve as a fellow in regional anesthesia at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC). My area of excellence is in clinical expertise and innovation. My professional career is transitioning to independent practice as a generalist in anesthesiology with further subspecialty training in acute pain medicine and regional anesthesia. I envision my clinical career to have equal parts of general operating room anesthesiology and regional and acute pain anesthesiology. I am board-certified eligible in anesthesiology. I have taken care of complex and critically ill patient throughout my training, including trauma, obstetric, and neurosurgical patients.
My contribution to clinical research or burgeoning, including various case reports and descriptions of novel regional anesthetic techniques, which are useful in my field. I look forward to developing further research projects as I become a leader in the field of regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine.
