Avery Glover, MD, MBA
George Washington University Hospital, Internal Medicine 
PGY-1


Avery Glover is an internal medicine resident at George Washington University. He completed his undergraduate training at Emory University in religious studies and undertook the WellStar Fellowship in Ethics and Social Life through Georgia State University. He went on to complete a joint MD/MBA at Tufts University School of Medicine and Brandeis University. Avery has worked to foster relationships between clinical care departments and local nonprofits, identifying opportunities to support patients in their end-of-life care. His career goal is to expand the web of medical and social support provided to patients through community engagement and innovation in healthcare delivery.
