Brandon Chaffay, MESc, MD​

Brandon Chaffay is a 4th year resident in Emergency Medicine at George Washington University Hospital. Brandon completed his undergraduate training at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario prior to obtaining a Master’s in Engineering at Western University in London, Ontario. He then moved to Ireland to complete his medical studies at the University College Dublin. In residency he developed an interest in the delivery of critical care in low-resource settings and in July 2023 will be starting a fellowship in Critical Care at Washington University in St Louis. He is interested in learning more about the social determinants of health and how policy can influence the delivery of healthcare.
