Chris is a practicing Emergency Medicine physician at the George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates. He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy and recently completed a two-year fellowship in Health Policy and Advocacy at George Washington University Hospital. He earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a scholarly concentration in clinical ethics and also holds a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
Chris was a frontline provider in the New York City emergency departments during the COVID-19 response, where he helped formulate city wide response strategies. His research during this time was well-recognized and cited in the CDC and PubMed Central COVID-19 practice guidelines.
Recently, Christopher completed a placement at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy in the National Security Division. His policy focus is largely directed toward making the U.S. healthcare system more resilient and responsive to biological threats.
