James Lockhart, MD
George Washington University Hospital, Psychiatry

James Lockhart is a current psychiatry PGY3 at George Washington University Hospital. James was born and raised on the Near Northside of Chicago and holds a BS in Psychology from Morehouse College. He earned his MD from Howard University College of Medicine were he discovered his passion for community psychiatry and addictions while working in the outpatient Suboxone clinic. He is also an APA Community Diversity Fellow and received the 2022-2023 Residency Clinician Award.  James is a Gold Humanism Award recipient and is committed to improving access to mental health resources in underserved communities.
