Jency Daniel, MD

Pediatric Infectious Disease Fellow

Jency Daniel is currently a pediatric infectious diseases fellow in her final year of training at Children's National Hospital and a medical officer at the FDA. She completed undergraduate training at Siena College, medical school at Albany Medical College, and pediatrics residency at Westchester Medical Center prior to moving to Washington DC. She has enjoyed participating in a wide variety of legislative advocacy initiatives through the AAP at the local and national levels and implementing a longitudinal curriculum to address healthcare disparities and equity in her fellowship. Her ultimate career goal is to incorporate public health, global health, legislative advocacy, and writing/medical journalism into her future career.
