Jose Pablo Garcia MD is a third-year internal medicine resident at GWU. He completed a Bachelor of Art degree from the University of Florida in Microbiology and Cell Science in 2015, during which time he worked in Dr. Ben Dunn's Biochemistry Laboratory and published work on the enzyme kinetics of HIV protease mutants. In 2016, to acquire a more diverse skillset, he completed a Master of Science in Management from the University of Florida during which he served on the Ambassador committee. He earned an M.D. from Florida Atlantic University in 2020 during which he did research on education in pain management, among other topics. In 2023 he will be completing residency in internal medicine at GWU, where he serves on the House Officer Counsel and engaged in Rheumatology Research, on topics gout and presented on topics such as hemophagocytic disease and joint injections.
