Joshua Smith, MD, MPH

Josh is a 3rd year resident training in Family Medicine and Psychiatry at The Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati in a 5-year combined residency program. He completed undergraduate training at Washington University in St. Louis and returned to his hometown of Chicago in 2015 to complete his combined MD/MPH training at the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a focus on Public Health Policy and Administration. His research and writing address systems improvements for bio-psycho-socially complex patients; the intersection of social policy, health, and healthcare; and the management of chronic conditions complicated by psychiatric and social co-morbidities.
