Manolya Osman is a fourth-year medical student at George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Global Poverty at the University of Maryland. Before medical school, she completed a summer internship on Capitol Hill and continued her interests in policy in medical school by attending various advocacy events, including the American College of Physicians Annual Leadership Day on Capitol Hill. There, she worked alongside physicians to encourage new policies expanding GME positions and preventative healthcare for those in both rural and urban settings. Manolya is applying into internal medicine and hopes to continue her passions in medical education, community outreach, clinical practice and innovation, and legislative advocacy. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, trail running, and exploring new cities on bike.
