Neil Zalavadia, MD
George Washington University Hospital, Internal Medicine 
PGY-1


Neil Zalavadia is a first-year Internal Medicine resident at George Washington University Hospital. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at Temple University. He then completed medical school training at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. He participated in research at a cardiology lab during his time there, too. During his fourth year of medical school, he completed his scholarly project, which involved teaching high school students various medical topics. His career goals include: becoming a hospitalist at an academic hospital, advocating for his patients, and teaching medical students. In his free time, Neil loves to try out new restaurants in D.C. and root for Philadelphia sports teams, including the Sixers and Eagles.
