Reema Kola, MD
George Washington University, Internal Medicine
PGY-2


Reema Kola is a second year internal medicine resident at George Washington University. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Florida and medical school at Florida International University (FIU). She is passionate about taking care of underserved in populations. As part of FIU’s NeighborhoodHELP program, she collaborated with students from social work, nursing, and other professional programs in order to provide longitudinal care to a household in an underserved area of Miami. Currently, she is a part of the Underserved Medicine and Public Health Concentration which is a two-year program for residents to engage in both caring for patient at local community health centers and conducting a public health project. Her career goal is to serve and advocate for the uninsured, underinsured, and the homeless populations.
