Shana Beavin 
Professional Staff, Health Subcommittee,
Energy and Commerce Minority Staff



Shana Beavin is Professional Staff for the Health Subcommittee on the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Minority Staff.

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Shana has spent over 15 years in Health Policy, including nearly 9 years on Capitol Hill in both personal office and committee staff capacity and 6 years with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Prior to the Hill, Shana worked on public policy for nonprofit associations in the DC metro area. She first started her public service career  at the state level in the North Carolina General Assembly in Raleigh, North Carolina. In her free time, Shana lives in Alexandria with her husband, Mike, children, and puppy.
