She completed undergraduate training at Stanford University and medical school at University of California, San Francisco. She received her Master's in Public Health degree at Harvard University with a concentration in Health Policy. Her current areas of interest include food insecurity, nutrition-based medicine, interpersonal violence prevention, and reducing racial disparities in health care. She looks forward to a career founded on community-based involvement and advocacy.
